We also believe that unconditional compassion is the foundational cornerstone of our Deen. Violence, whether verbal, intellectual, or physical, is contrary to the core message of Islam. We emphasize the idea that violence is the language of the inarticulate, and we must treat others as we wish to be treated. We believe in affording all human beings unconditional compassion, kindness, and dignity, regardless of race or background.
